Gardner Wedding

These Bridesmaid dresses were originally strapless. I added 3 inch wide stair step tucked straps. I added a full back with a keyhole and button closure instead of a zipper to the base of the neck.

Busselled the trainThe bride needed more room in her gown from the armpit to the thigh on both sides. I added two inches on both sides. I then added additional lace and beading to finish and match gown.

Formal Fittings

Miss Utah USA Pageant 2006. I added a bra to the lining of this dress. Then fitted it to Kalli body.

This dress was strapless. I added neck loop to make it a halter style.

Some Photos of My Work

This Wedding Dress was to loose and low at the top. I add 2 inches of satin to the top all the way around to the back. It stair stepped to match the bodice of the gown. I also added a button to bussel the train.

This Bridesmaid dress was a halter style. The neckline was to low and the halter tie made it lay weird as well. I filled it in with cream lace over pink satin to match the dress. Then I added hooks and crisscrossed the ties. The fit was perfect.

Get Going

This weekend I spent some time working on the paper work to get my business license. There is so much fine print to read. I ordered my new sewing machine last week and should see it any day now. I have designed my business cards and just need to print them out. Once I have all the information gathered and submitted it will take 4 to 5 weeks to process and receive my license.

I'm working on gathering pictures of all the dresses I have worked on so they can be posted here on the blog.
